This Instructor Course

In this Instructor course you must complete the required 300 hours over a 6-month period on days Monday through Friday from times 8:00am to 4:30pm. Any students enrolled in this course must hold a license in the field they are approved to teach for at least (3) continuous years in order to obtain an instructor license. We have partnered with pivot point learning fundamentals and will consist of a structured lesson plan that is taught by our licensed instructor. 

This course is broken down into General, Physical and chemical learning. The three hundred (300) clock hours/9 credit hours of instruction required of an applicant for a natural hair stylist license shall be apportioned as follows:

1. General-120 clock hours/3.6 credit hours Sanitation, sterilization, bacteriology, shampooing, draping, disorders of hair and scalp, state law and salon management.

2. Physical-180 clock hours/5.4 credit hours Twisting, wrapping, weaving, extending, locking, braiding and natural hair styling, by hand or mechanical appliances

You will have training in lesson planning. You will have training in practical applications preparing graduates for entry-level employment in a beauty school. The training encompasses all phases of preparing to become an instructor in a beauty school, including lesson planning and practical application. Book knowledge, testing, teaching techniques, grading, student motivation, product knowledge, visual aid equipment, state laws and classroom control. Originate, prepare and enact lessons. 

Tuition for this Course is $4,000 and this includes the books necessary to complete this course.
